The Ice has Gone....

I love the winter months. 
The beautiful blankets of snow. 
The crisp air makes you feel alive.




But just as much as I love to see the first snow come, I love to see the last snow go.
Perhaps I'm "counting my chicks before they hatch"...as my Grandmother would have said, but I am certainly hoping the ice storm that melted away earlier this week will be our last winter weather for the winter of 2012-13.


Goodbye Mr. Winter...bring on the spring flowers!

      You would think since the title of my blog is "View from River Mountain" I would actually have more pictures of the view from River Mtn. I'll have to do something about that.
